GLENLYON HOUSE | BRISBANE
An extensive restoration and modernisation were required to bring this grand dame of Victorian Brisbane, built c1880, to contemporary life. Meeting the challenge of heritage restrictions head on, we retained much of the original detail while incorporating all of the accoutrements for twenty-first century family life.
The brief from our long-standing client was to design an interior that exuded sophistication and fun with a nod to New York glamour, for their home and self-contained guest quarters. The results are breathtaking.
